Code of West Virginia, 1931 §16-9G-5 (a) The owner, operator, manager, or other person in control of a public place or place of employment where smoking is prohibited must clearly and conspicuously post "No Smoking" signs or signs featuring the international "No Smoking" symbol, which depicts a burning cigarette enclosed in a red circle with a red bar across it.
