35 P.S. § 637.4 requires that "Smoking" or "No Smoking" signs, as well as the international "No Smoking" symbol—depicting a burning cigarette within a circle with a bar across it—be prominently displayed and well-maintained in areas where smoking is regulated by this act. The responsibility for posting and maintaining these signs falls to the owner, operator, manager, or other person in control of the area.
