Product Information

Details

This Warning Arc Flash and Shock Hazard Label uses the ANSI Z535.4 WARNING header with a direct warning not to operate controls or open covers without appropriate PPE, plus fillable fields for nominal system voltage, arc flash boundary, incident energy, working distance, and PPE category. It's applied to individual switchboards, panelboards, and other equipment after an arc flash risk assessment, referring workers to NFPA 70E for the minimum PPE requirements tied to that equipment's hazard data. This label communicates the equipment-specific hazard and a clear operating restriction, but it is not a substitute for required PPE and other protective measures.
