Details
This Arc Flash and Shock Hazard Label uses the ANSI Z535.4 format with fillable fields for nominal system voltage, arc flash boundary, arc flash PPE category, and minimum arc rating of PPE, plus a built-in checklist of arc-rated PPE and additional PPE, along with equipment ID and date of assessment. It's applied to individual switchboards, panelboards, and other equipment after an arc flash risk assessment, so technicians can record the assigned PPE category and check off the exact gear required for that specific piece of equipment. This label communicates this equipment's specific hazard data and required PPE, but it is not a substitute for wearing that PPE and following other protective measures.
