At 28 inches, this cone satisfies MUTCD requirements for nighttime operations and roadways with posted speeds of 45 mph or higher. The 6" and 4" High Intensity Prismatic reflective bands are rated ASTM D4956 Type IV — a meaningful step above standard sheeting in terms of light return distance and angle, which translates directly to earlier driver recognition and more reaction time.
