180 Degree U-Channel Post Street Name Sign Brackets are designed to be used with 2 lbs./ft., 3 lbs./ft., and 4 lbs./ft. U-channel posts. The 180 degree name refers to the way in which the sign mounting part of the bracket sits parallel with the flange of the U-channel post.
The opening on the extruded blade bracket is 5/16" wide to accommodate the 1/4" thick extrusion of the extruded blade sign, and 3/16" wide on the flat blade bracket to accommodate .080" thick flat blade signs. Both openings are 7/8" deep.
5-1/2" and 12" wide brackets are available for purchase. The 5-1/2" bracket is ideal for 6" tall street signs with lengths up to 24", and the 12" bracket is best suited for all 9" tall street signs as well as 6" tall signs with lengths of 30" or more.
Each extruded blade street name sign bracket includes two bolts for attaching the bracket to the post, and set screws for securing the sign to the bracket. No holes are required on the street name sign for installation. A 5/32" hex key is necessary to tighten the set screws.

The 180° U-Channel post bracket works with 2 lbs./ft., 3 lbs./ft., and 4 lbs./ft. U-Channel posts and is designed to hold a street name sign in line with the flange of the post. 5½″ and 12″ wide brackets are available to accommodate both small and large street name signs, as well as brackets for .080″ flat blade signs and extruded blade signs.

What is the difference between the 90° and 180° bracket?
As you can see from the photos below, the 90° bracket holds the sign so that it is perpendicular with the flange of the post. The 180° bracket holds the sign so that it is in line with the flange of the post. Seeing how your post is installed will help you determine which bracket you will need to choose for mounting your street name sign.
