Loose Gravel Signs are MUTCD Compliant (MUTCD W8-7) and let others know that the upcoming road may be uncompleted or unpaved requiring reduced speed and increased awareness. Option
The LOOSE GRAVEL (W8-7) sign may be used to warn of loose gravel on the roadway surface.
Guidance
When used, Surface Condition signs should be placed in advance of the beginning of the affected section, and additional signs should be placed at appropriate intervals along the road where the condition exists.
