Take the Next Right to Narnia

Have you ever dreamt of visiting Middle Earth or Narnia? Well now you can (kind of). If you happen to visit the small English town of Didcot before local council removes the fictional names from a number of Road Signs, you’ll be pleased to learn that Middle Earth is just past Wallingford on the A4130.

While Oxford Country Council is calling the alteration an “act of vandalism,” the mayor of Didcot views the signs as a great addition to the town. Fans of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings and C.S. Lewis’ The Chronicles of Narnia are sure to delight in the changes and agree with the mayor.

The hunt is on to capture and uncover the devious sign-shifter. If and when local authorities find him they will surely punish the man who has brought many smiles upon the great folk of Didcot.
