Details

U-Channel Anchor Posts are the base post used for U-Channel breakaway systems, and to allow users to take advantage of the full length of their sign posts. These posts are 36" (3 ft.) long and are available in either green enamel or galvanized finish. The green enamel finish helps to protect the post from the elements while also giving them a natural look. The galvanized finish provides maximum durability against the elements. These U-Channel anchor posts are 2 lbs./ft. and have 3/8" holes spaced 1" apart on center.

When installing the anchor post, drive the post into the ground until only about 4" of post is left exposed. Hardware to mount the sign post to the anchor post is sold separately. We recommend our Y3539 SNAP'n SAFE break-away device.
