Note:
The Adjustable U-Channel Bracket For Extruded Blade Street Name Signs is the ideal bracket for mounting a street name sign at any angle on your U-channel post. This is especially valuable when you aren't sure if you need the fixed position 90 degree or 180 degree bracket.
The opening on the bracket is 7/8" deep at the tallest part of the slot and 5/16" wide, which easily accommodates the 1/4" thick extrusion of the extruded blade sign. 5-1/2" and 12" wide brackets are available. The 5-1/2" bracket is best for 6" tall street signs with lengths up to 24". The 12" bracket is best suited for all 9" tall street signs as well as 6" tall signs with lengths of 30" or more.
Each Adjustable Cross Piece For Extruded Blade Street Name Signs includes set screws for securing the sign to the bracket, as well as bolts for securing the bracket to the post. No holes are required on the street name sign. A 5/32" hex key is necessary to tighten the set screws.

Street Name Sign Bracket - Adjustable U-Channel Post Bracket
The adjustable U-Channel post bracket works with 2 lbs./ft., 3 lbs./ft., and 4 lbs./ft. These brackets have been designed to be adjustable to any angle which make them the most versatile U-Channel post bracket you can purchase. 5½″ and 12″ wide brackets are available to accommodate both small and large street name signs, as well as brackets for .080″ flat blade signs and extruded blade signs.
Tools required for installation:
- 5/32″ hex key
- (2) ½″ socket and ratchet wrenches or (1) ½″ socket and ratchet wrench and (1) ½″ socket driver.
installation
- Remove the bolts and nuts from both halves of the bracket.
- Use one bolt and nut to secure the bracket halves together at the angle required. Store the extra nut and bolt as it is not needed.
