The Wisconsin Non Guarded Area Sign is a useful tool to help protect the health and safety of others in pool and swimming areas, and is not a substitute for necessary protective measures for lessening or eliminating hazards. This sign complies with Wis. Adm. Code DHS 172.22. All text is 4" tall.
ATCP 76.22 Lifeguards and attendants
(d) A plan required under par. (a) for a whirlpool that is located in a water attraction complex shall specify that at least one attendant shall provide periodic supervision. If a whirlpool is not supervised by an attendant at all times, a sign shall be posted that states in letters at least 4 inches high: "Non-guarded area."
