These girls do NOT need to to be made an explain of, they were under the influne of marijuana, but what the news did NOT say was that mikie had mouth surgery and was on pain killers, that were hers. And you act like you were never kid or teenager or even made mistakes.

This should also be another “Say No to Drugs” campaign. Please stress the importance of not using drugs to ALL kids/teenagers. It is more of a problem than anyone knows. It’s up to the parents to teach kids about drugs and the effects. This is one accident that could have possibly been prevented. I don’t think the families even realized that these girls were using drugs. What happened to drug testing in school?

This is quite tragic, and happens only too often.

I believe its the responsibility of the skater to wear a helmet and safety pads all the time, which could have prevented a tragedy like this. I also think that there should be safely signs of some sort placed in areas where there is high activity from youth, which could at least warn drivers to slow down too. Helmets should be worn by all ages, not just under 18.. Just because your over 18 doesn’t make you less vulnerable to injury.

Ya know what? I think man or woman, we all need to be attentive and focused drivers. If we all adopted the attitude that driving is a dangerous activity, we would significantly reduce traffic deaths.

Drew was my best friend, he was there for me no matter what. He was there for anyone. He will be missed by many, and loved by everyone, as always. It is sad that he is gone, but we will see him again soon. Love you so much D-Dawwwg!
