YIELD Signs
A yield sign is recommended to control traffic at passive cross streets to help keep traffic flowing at a safe pace. Our durable MUTCD compliant signs are printed using UV resistant outdoor ink on Engineering Grade reflective sheeting, laminated to .08 Aluminum.
Typically yield sign suggest pedestrian crossing, bike crossings, merging onto a roadway or railroad crossing. When installing your traffic sign be sure to use a sign post that measures 7ft. for areas of pedestrian movement and at least 4ft. to support cross buck crossings.

This yield sign follows the design guidelines specified in the MUTCD Standard for Parking and Traffic Signs.
Material: Engineering Grade (EG) Reflective sheeting is a beaded material that renders high reflectivity at night. It is highly resistant against the extremes of hot, cold, dry, and humid weathering conditions. Engineering Grade (EG) Reflective Sheeting meets ASTM D4956 Type I retro-reflective sheeting standards.

.080 3M™ High Intensity Prismatic (Type III & IV) Reflective Aluminum
This retro reflective sheeting is 3 to 4 times brighter than Engineering grade sheeting. 3M™ High Intensity Prismatic Reflective Sheeting meets and exceeds ASTM D 4956 Spec Type III, IV. This sheeting is required by many State DOT to be the replacement of the EG sheeting when posting new traffic signs. 3M™ High Intensity Prismatic Reflective Sheeting is a non-metalized micro prismatic lens reflective sheeting designed for production of reflective durable traffic control signs, work zone devices and delineators that are exposed vertically in service. 3M™ high intensity prismatic sheeting provides long-term reflectivity and durability.
