- These signs are manufactured with rust free aluminum over laminated with Yellow-Green Fluorescent 3M Diamond Grade Reflective Sheeting (Type IX).
- Classified as 10 times brighter than Engineering Grade (Type I) and 3 times brighter than High Intensity (Type III).
- 3M Diamond Grade Type IX is much brighter during daylight hours as well as night hours than Engineering Grade or High Intensity Reflective Sheeting.
- Rust free aluminum blank over laminated with Diamond Grade™ Reflective Sheeting.
- Graphics are screen printed with translucent inks or applied vinyl graphics, opaque and translucent film. (Translucent ink or film is not applicable to the color black)
- .080 Aluminum is typically used on large parking and traffic signs, sizes varying from 18 x 24” to 48 x 48”
- These signs have been designed for the following applications: post, fence or wall mounting.
- These parking signs do not have any overlamination.
- Image / Text on signs is printed directly onto the reflective sheeting.
- Printed image will resist fading and mild chemicals.
Sign Construction:
- What do you need when mounting signs?
If you are mounting signs to a U-Channel Post, the following
hardware accessories are required: -
- 1 U-channel post, sizes range from 4ft to 12ft,
either Green or Galvanized finishes. - 1 Bolting Set (Part# Y3465 or Y4899)
Set includes washers, bolts and, or - 1 Tamperproof Set (Part# Y4900 or Y4901)
Set includes washers, one way bolts and break away nuts. - 1 Pair of Ribbed Plates (optional) Part# Y4915
- Please follow the installation steps shown on the illustration.

Sign Mounting on U-Channel Post
- What do you need when mounting signs?
If you are mounting signs to a 2-3/8” Round Post, the
following hardware accessories are required: -
- 1 Round Post (2-3/8” dia.) sizes range from 8ft to 12ft
- 1 Sign Aluminum Interlocking Bracket
(Part# Y3457).
Set includes 2 brackets, bolt and nuts, or - 2 sign Aluminum Bracket Set (Part# Y3458).
Set includes 2 brackets with bolting set to mount 2 signs on each side of post. - Please follow the installation steps shown on the illustration.

Diamond Grade™ Reflective Aluminum (.063", .080"):
- Description & Attributes
- 3M™ Diamond Grade™ Reflective Sheeting. Fluorescent yellow green full cube prismatic reflective sheetingis a super-high efficiency, full cube retroreflective sheeting designed for signs that need to be highly visible daytime, nighttime, twilight, and inclement weather. Excellent visibility at wide entrance and observation angles. This sheeting is designed to have the highest retroreflective characteristics at medium and short road distance. Diamond Grade fluorescent reflective sheeting provides higher visibility than ordinary (non-fluorescent) colored sheetings.
